DOMESTIC INFANT ADOPTION PROGRAM

Adoption Journeys is proud to provide Arizona adoption services to all members of the adoptive triad through our Domestic Infant Program. Our staff of professionals have years of experience in assisting families to realize their dream of parenthood, in tandem, with the expertise to provide sensitive, supportive assistance to birth mom's considering an adoption plan for their unborn child.

The focus of our Domestic program is to support all members of the adoption triad; the birth mom, the potential adoptive family, and the unborn child. We offer a myriad of adoption services which includes; counseling for birth parents considering an adoption plan, and ongoing education, as well as, training and support for prospective adoptive parents. See below.

We offer Two options through our Arizona Adoption programs:

Program A - we match you with a birthmother and act as a liaison

* Infants of all races and ethnic backgrounds can be adopted through the Domestic Program.

* Families may specify their preferences regarding gender, racial/ethnic and health history of the child they desire to adopt

* Flexibility in preferences may result being matched sooner with a Birth parent

* Both Families and Birth parent may request their preference for an open, semi open or closed adoption option

* The waiting period for a referral through Adoption Journeys is not predictable because families are matched according to birth parent preferences

 Program B- Family Finds Birthparents

We provide Home Study and Adoption Finalization services to prospective adoptive families who are matched with Birth mothers by referrals from friends, physicians or attorneys.
