		OUR AGENCY’S PLEDGE TO THE BIRTHPARENTS WE SERVE If you are pregnant and considering making an adoption plan for your child, we can assist and support you through the many emotions and questions you may have. You will always be treated with dignity and respect.
			We realize this is a difficult, challenging time in your life and we will honor your requests, and decisions at all times. You are the only one who can decide what is best for you and your child. Our responsibility is to be there for you throughout your pregnancy, and after the birth of your child. We have trained professionals with expertise in adoptions who will provide you with supportive, non-judgmental counseling. We provide the following Birthparent Services free of charge: Our Counselors are there to assist you in exploring the options of adoption. Our Counselors and staff members will support you as you decide if adoption is the right plan for you and your child. Continued support in exploring the right adoption plan for you and your child, a plan that is personalized to meet your specific needs. An opportunity to review the profiles of carefully screened prospective families who want very much to adopt a child. The right to choose the adoptive family you believe should raise your child. If you desire the opportunity to meet and begin a relationship with the adoptive family you have chosen. Assistance with medical care, housing, and other needs. We respect your right to see, hold, and spend time with your baby after birth. We offer counseling before and after the birth of your child. Finally, and most importantly we are not here to judge you, question your decisions or reasons for making them. Our role as your support system is to assist you in transitioning through one of the most challenging times of your life.
